- The SR-24's omnidirectional antennas capture the complete signal field so that locating the signal and tracking is easy. The receiver displays the position and direction of the utility line on the screen for an intuitive search. In addition, audible and visual signals alert the user if the shape of the signal field is distorted, so that action can be taken to prevent incorrect marking of the utility line location.

Use with RIDGIDtrax
- RIDGIDtrax allows for real-time elemental mapping of underground utility lines. When you wirelessly connect an Android or iOS device to a RIDGID SR-24 locator, RIDGIDtrax displays the GPS position and depth of the tracked pipe. Identify the type of pipe (water, gas, electricity, etc.) and display multiple pipes on the same map. The final map can be saved and viewed in the app, or exported to a *.KMZ file for use with common GIS programmes, such as Google Earth.
